Just competed in my first body building competition college level.( next level training)
Prep time - 20 days (just? Man I just gave it a shot!)
Anddddd a secured a top 10 finish!
Alright back to topic,
In this blog , we shall learn what exercise is and what is exercise isn’t!
An actionable routine for beginner to get their exercise routine will be shared towards the end. Hang tight!

We have really lowered the bar on exercise.
What is Exercise?
Exercise is - your heart rate racing up and down,
Your muscles bearing the stress.
Your mind asking you to give up.
That is exercise.
My dad wakes up at 530 everyday and goes for a walk, that is fitness.
Do not confuse with exercise.
He then performs stretching exercise- is that exercise?
Yes.
But just walking everyday hitting 10k steps is nowhere close to exercise!
I see people often posting their step count saying
‘Yay! we hit our EXERCISE GOAL.’
NO!
ALSO, who told you 10k steps is necessary?
Why not 11 k or 9k steps?
This is just a fad.
In no way , Am i saying 10k steps is bad or something?
All i’m saying is PUSHHHH MORE!
Here is an actionable routine:
Target a jog of 2km every alternate day , this will get your heart rate racing.
Do it in 15 mins or less - this is your 1st week target.
Next week hit 3 km or more keeping the time under 20 mins.
Or hit 2 km but under 13min.
Once you hit your first two weeks - Dm me with evidence! I will have a special plan for you - but before 30th of this month, Time starts now!
This is a form of progressive overload for running.
Its the most easiest and accessible form of exercise.

running is the most simple form of exercise. Running 2 km in 12-14 min is much better than walking 4 km in 1 hr.
