Week so far.
After a week's break from a slightly chill forensic medicine posting, today was my first night duty in the tuberculosis ward.
Getting back into the swing of things after a week off was bound to be a point of friction. We had six admissions and got only about two hours of sleep, but it was extremely hectic.
I couldn't finish all the work because of the many procedures that had to be done. By 8:30 a.m., I was completely exhausted. I got home and had my high-protein breakfast of eggs, guava, yogurt, whey, and flax. Then, I looked at the Notion calendar to plan the week's posts.
We scheduled some tweets and are now making a couple of videos. The YouTube strategy is going well; we're at 1,700 followers after two and a half months, and the growth is picking up. The team is working well.
From a branding perspective, we have also worked extremely hard, and things are only going to get better in the coming months.
The fitness season is starting to pick up again; September, October, November, and December are peak fitness business months, so we need to be ready.
We have made good progress, and client slots are already filling up this September, so things are looking pretty good. But then these night duties come back, and you have to figure out how to manage it all. It's quite challenging.
At the same time, if you want to do something out of the box, a certain level of sacrifice and dedication is required.
