So I have been posted as a intern doctor in a small village called Mandur.
Mandur is 35 mins away from my house.
The first week I stayed in hostel and lived the hostel life.
Hostel life is crazy good with friends.
We even had a intern party with biryani and games.
After slogging for 4.5 years in MBBS exams, this was much needed.
I even took gym membership in the village which costs 1 k a month. That was a deal
Have a look a the gym.
But then things got a bit hectic, I enrolled for personal fitness coaching and I’m preparing for certain exams as well.
I shifted back home and this was due to the work pressure.
The department i am posted in is called preventive social medicine.
This is one of the least hectic part of MBBS internship.
We have 4 night duties in this posting from 9 am to 9 am next day.
Taking Blood pressure reading, checking on sugar levels, writing discharge cards, dressing, blood sampling and prescribing medicine with senior doctor is the work of an intern.
During these night duties, I had reference patients with whom I had to travel to the main hospital of Goa, because our centre didn’t have sufficient facilities for their treatment.
So the first month as been quite a experience.
The coaching business is doing fine at the moment and I am actively learning how to grow it with a business mentor.
Upgrading my coaching skills with Freegym.
This is important as AI takes over most jobs in the future, I will be better positioned in the market.

So yes I’m juggling alot of work, but this is extremely important for my growth.
I will be writing daily emails to get improve my writing as well.
It’s 7:58 am now and I need to leave for hospital by 830.
Will have a quick breakfast of yogurt and some fruits and push off.
