Reality check?
Now this is really important. If you often hear people saying
“ Hey, looks like you put on some weight? Look at this pic from last year!”
Now, this may seem like a taunt or you might play the BODY POSITIVITY CARD here.
But……
Let’s just accept the fact that some of us run hectic jobs , to make time for our loved ones we might dump the gym someday.
AND that is COMPLETELY FINE.
Yes you heard that right.
Life happens.
But when you do come “out of that phase” it is your responsibility to push harder to achieve your health goals.
So the first step is - when someone serves you that reality check, accept it.
Dietary intervention
I follow a simple 3 step process to tackle diet issues.
Adding high quality foods.
Remove garbage foods.
Finally adjust kcal depending on weight gain/loss/ maintain.
The above order is important.
But.. what are high quality and garbage foods?
Don’t pretend. You already know.
That chips packet and coke you were sipping the other day watching Netflix.
Yes I am talking about that.
In all seriousness, all processed carbs come under this category.
High quality foods -
Eggs
Meat
Dairy
Fruits
Vegetables
The top 3 will hit the most important part of your diet - which is PROTEIN.
Fruits and vegetables will cover your vitamins and fiber requirements.
I mean what else do you want?

Workout routine
4 x a week.
Goal - Build Muscle mass.
Do not go all in cardio to burn that fat.
Weight training is a must if your goal is to burn fat and build muscle.
Okay , not a must but you get my point.
